Sinead Namur is currently Admission’s Officer and a teacher of English in the Department of Languages and Cultures at Télécom Paris.

An experienced academic manager and teacher combining a passion for English language and literature, she has over 20 years’ experience teaching in the primary, secondary and higher education sector in France.

She has worked in state French schools, been a freelance tutor for international companies  and set up her own association for teaching English to children. She was a Senior Teacher at the British Council in Paris, where she managed a Partner School in Sèvres. She is also a Cambridge DELTA tutor and a member of TESOL France Executive Committee.

Her key interests include materials’ and curriculum development. She enjoys developing new partnerships with other institutions and has been instrumental in setting up IELTS certification sessions for Télécom students on campus.

The courses she has designed for Télécom Paris students include TOEFL IBT and IELTS preparation, A World of English through Accents and International Business Mediation.
