TalTech, Estonia: Strengthening European partnerships
12 March 2026
Starting in September 2026, TalTech students will be able to participate in non-degree academic mobility in our MSc in Engineering program (diplôme ingénieur) while Télécom Paris engineering students can join with the School of Information Technologies at TalTech. Courses will be offered in English, allowing students to fully benefit from an international academic experience for one semester or a full academic year.
TalTech, recognized as a top 3% university worldwide (QS), focuses on engineering, information technologies, applied sciences, and business. Founded in 1918, it welcomes approximately 10,000 students. The university has strong expertise in IT, cybersecurity, embedded systems, electronics, 5G, and advanced technologies. It emphasizes innovation, entrepreneurship, and practical, hands-on learning. TalTech hosts more than 50 high-tech companies on campus, with state-of-the-art facilities and labs.
Located less than 10 km from the centre of Tallinn, the city offers a safe, multicultural environment with a rich cultural heritage (UNESCO-listed old town). Its engaging student life and affordable living and housing options are additional appealing assets. Tallinn is also just two hours by ferry from Helsinki, providing excellent regional connectivity.
This new Erasmus+ agreement enhances Télécom Paris’ European partnership network and provides exceptional opportunities for academic and intercultural enrichment for both our students and TalTech’s. It further strengthens the international dimension of the MSc in Engineering program.
