Borrow, renew and return library materials

Borrow

The Télécom Paris’ library contained a collection of more than 20 000 books. It is one of the most important and specialized library on digital and telecommunications in France.

You can borrow most of the documents there (except the last issue of the magazines and the newspaper that are only available on site).
The documents that are located in the archives are available in the 24h after filling out the form (that you can also find at the welcome desk).

Return

To return documents via the self service station, click only on “Return” (you don’t need your student card for this) and then put the book on trolley next to it.
If the library is closed, you can put the documents inside the return box that is located outside the library (next to the entry).

Renew

You have 3 solutions:

  • If you want to renew a loan before the end of the 4 week loan period, you can do so online from our online catalog (Koha) after logging in on “Consultez votre compte” https://catalogue-bibliotheques.imt.fr/
  • With your student card, use the option “Renew” on the self service station next to the welcome desk inside the library.
  • If you are a day late, the online renew solution and the renew on the self service will be blocked.
You need to go to the welcome desk and see with the librarian.
Overdue loans

After the library sent you three overdue notices, your borrowing rights will be suspended until you return the loan.
