Back to School 2026: Télécom Paris Welcomes Engineering Students from Around the World

Télécom Paris confirms its global appeal. For the 2026 academic year, the School welcomes students from 20 countries across five continents: Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas. These talented individuals are joining Télécom Paris for 2- to 3-year degree programs or exchange stays of one or two semesters. Most are recruited through Télécom Paris’s global network of renowned international university partners.

A Diverse International Recruitment

The new students come from…

Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, China, Colombia, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Peru, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay.

… with nearly three-quarters pursuing dual-degree programs. Additionally, 15 students are participating in a 6-month to 1-year exchange during their second or third year. This diversity underscores the strength of Télécom Paris’s academic network, which includes over 100 exchange agreements, including 40 dual-degree partnerships.

This international momentum is supported by:

  • Fully English-taught programs, available from the second year onward;
  • The shared SPEIT campus in China, from which eight students are joining Télécom Paris this year in their first or second year of the engineering program.

A Varied Scholarship System

Many students benefit from funding for their mobility, including:

  • The European Erasmus+ program;
  • Government scholarships from their home country or university;
  • Bilateral programs, such as Brafitec (with Brazil);
  • French government scholarships: Eiffel Scholarships, Embassy Scholarships;
  • Funds supported by alumni through the Fondation Mines-Télécom.

Personalized Support

Télécom Paris offers a comprehensive welcome system, from admission to campus integration. The School has earned the « Bienvenue en France » label with 3 stars, awarded by Campus France.

To assist non-French-speaking students, an intensive French language program is organized every summer, focusing on general and scientific French. The International Relations Office supports students with administrative procedures (housing, visa validation, formalities, etc.), in collaboration with the relevant School services and GATE Paris-Saclay.

Starting September 1, new students were welcomed by the International Relations team, the Student Office (Bureau des Élèves), and the Alumni Association. Their integration week includes campus tours, presentations of the curriculum and School services and a proposed 4-day integration weekend (WEI), organized by the Student Office. An associative activities forum, scheduled for mid-September by the Sports and Student Offices.

Internationalization at the Heart of the Engineering Program

To promote their success and integration, international students participate in numerous activities from the start of the academic year and throughout the year, including:

  • Intercultural exchange workshops, organized by the Languages and Cultures team;
  • Lunches with the International Relations team;
  • The French Village to discover culinary specialties;
  • The Mobility « Galette des rois »;
  • The International Village.

These convivial events help build connections with French students and turn cultural diversity into an asset for the entire School.
