American University of Beirut, Lebanon: Exchange Agreement

Télécom Paris has signed an exchange agreement with the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering & Architecture and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Concluded with one of Lebanon’s most prestigious institutions, this partnership will help diversify the profiles of engineering students on the Télécom Paris campus.

The agreement provides for non-degree academic exchanges for students from the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering & Architecture and the physics, mathematics, and computer science departments of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at AUB and Télécom Paris’ MSc in Engineering program students.

Starting September 2026, we will welcome the first two students from AUB’s Computer Science Master’s program to our campus for a six-month exchange.

Founded in 1866, AUB is the top-ranked university in Lebanon (QS WUR 2026) and one of the most renowned institutions in the region for the quality of its teaching and research. Its campus is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the oldest at the university, is particularly recognized for the excellence of its computer science programs.

Télécom Paris already maintained research and doctoral-level collaborations with AUB. This agreement reflects the school’s strategy to strengthen partnerships with leading academic institutions worldwide and to further advance the internationalization of its campus.
