Nils Holzenberger is an Associate Professor at Télécom Paris, where he is a member of the Data, Intelligence and Graphs (DIG) research team.
Before joining Télécom Paris, Nils Holzenberger completed his PhD at Johns Hopkins University, where he was a PhD student from September 2017 to November 2022 in the Center for Language and Speech Processing. He conducted his doctoral research under the supervision of Professors Benjamin Van Durme, focusing on language representation learning, legal NLP, and information extraction.
Prior to his PhD, he completed his Master’s degree at Mines Paris – PSL in 2017.
Research activities
His current research explores how artificial intelligence can help identify inconsistencies and loopholes in tax law, with the broader goal of supporting legislators and public institutions in designing more robust legal systems.
