Télécom Espoir, humanitarian association

Télecom Espoir is the student humanitarian association of Télécom Paris. Amine Mirhom and Farah Jabri, president and vice-president of the association, both 1st year students, tell us about its activities: marauding, solidarity grocery shop, humanitarian aid in Morocco.
Giving our time to the most disadvantaged, contributing to solidarity actions for the common good; these are the key words of our project. The aim of this project is to conduct outreach activities with the objective of providing:
- foodstuffs (hot drinks, meals),
- clothing and hygiene products, including feminine products, in order to fight against menstrual insecurity. Contacts will be made with the association « Feminité sans abris » (homeless women), which is already very active in this area,
- to bring smiles, humanity, to meet people on the street and to maintain or even recreate a social link.
