Télécom Espoir, humanitarian association

Télecom Espoir is the student humanitarian association of Télécom Paris. Amine Mirhom and Farah Jabri, president and vice-president of the association, both 1st year students, tell us about its activities: marauding, solidarity grocery shop, humanitarian aid in Morocco.

Giving our time to the most disadvantaged, contributing to solidarity actions for the common good; these are the key words of our project. The aim of this project is to conduct outreach activities with the objective of providing:

  • foodstuffs (hot drinks, meals),
  • clothing and hygiene products, including feminine products, in order to fight against menstrual insecurity. Contacts will be made with the association “Feminité sans abris” (homeless women), which is already very active in this area,
  • to bring smiles, humanity, to meet people on the street and to maintain or even recreate a social link.
