USTC, China: strengthening partnerships in Asia
08 April 2026
Starting in September 2026, Télécom Paris engineering students will be able to undertake a non-degree academic mobility in the fields of mathematics, engineering, artificial intelligence and information sciences. This partnership will also contribute to further internationalising the Palaiseau campus through the welcoming of new Chinese students within its MSc of Engineering program (diplôme ingénieur).
A student mobility agreement spanning a wide range of domains
Signed at the end of 2025, the new agreement applies to Télécom Paris MSc in Engineering students as well as USTC students, and covers four academic units at USTC:
- School of Mathematical Sciences, specialising in applied mathematics, modelling and statistics.
- School of Engineering Science, focused on applied engineering and the design and analysis of complex systems.
- Division of Information and Intelligence, covering information sciences, artificial intelligence, software engineering and more.
- School of the Gifted Young, dedicated to highly talented students and offering an academic approach centred on autonomy, research and interdisciplinarity.
From September 2026 onwards, the agreement will allow Télécom Paris engineering students to complete a one- or two-semester academic exchange at USTC.
It will also enable Télécom Paris to welcome outstanding international students from these four academic units, contributing to the diversity of academic profiles on campus.
