World University Rankings: Télécom Paris very well ranked by QS in Computer Science and Electrical Electronic Engineering

The QS World University Rankings is an annual ranking of universities published by Quacquarelli Symonds. It is one of the three most reputable university rankings, along with the Times Higher Education and the Shanghai University Rankings.

In the edition published in March 2020, Télécom Paris is very well ranked in two disciplines of the Engineering Technology broad area: Computer Science & Information Systems (score 70.1 – rank 101-150 and 4th best French establishment) and Electrical & Electronic Engineering (score 62.5 – rank 201-250 and 7th best French establishment). For the Engineering & Technology sector as a whole, Télécom Paris’ score is 64.7 and its rank is 331st, the 9th best French establishment.

The score given by employers speaks for itself: 81.4 for Computer Science & Information Systems and 75.5 for Electrical & Electronic Engineering (72.5 for the Engineering & Technology sector as a whole).

Our progress in the Computer Science discipline is also commendable: 151-200 in 2018, 101-150 in 2019 and 2020 (Electrical & Electronic Engineering: 251-300 in 2017, 201-250 since 2018).

Finally, Télécom Paris appears for the first time in the Mathematics discipline (Natural Sciences broad area) thanks to the increase in its score: 57.8 (and 70.5 awarded by employers).
