This course is suitable for second-year students and offers the opportunity to set up an intercultural/linguistic/cultural project between international students – e.g. Colombian-Brazilian, Arabic-Chinese – or between international students and French students – e.g. French-Italian, French-Tunisian.
Course details
- 1 video conference to present the project and register formed tandems (limited to 12 tandems) – Late September
- 1 face-to-face session – Early October
- 3 video interviews per tandem: 1 in early November, 1 in early December, 1 in early January
- 1 in-person presentation of the project to a panel: end of term
Assessment
- 1 written assignment (feedback on the experience)
- 1 oral defence before a panel of language teachers from the formed tandems
Credit: This course counts toward the third-language requirement. It is worth 2 credits. These are supplemental, non-mandatory appropriations.
Language prerequisite for international students: minimum FLE (French as a foreign language) level B1 must have been achieved.
