Chih-Kai Huang is an assistant professor in the Networks, Mobility and Services (RMS) team of the LTCI laboratory, where he works on large-scale distributed systems, cloud and edge computing, the Internet of Things, and AI for infrastructure management.

Before joining Télécom Paris in January 2026, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Télécom SudParis throughout 2025, where he conducted his research within the SAMOVAR laboratory.

He obtained his PhD in 2024 within the Magellan research team at IRISA in Rennes, under the supervision of Professor Guillaume Pierre. His doctoral work focused on geo-distributed Kubernetes cluster federations, multi-tenancy in federated environments, and scalable monitoring for edge and fog computing infrastructures.
