Samuel Tardieu is an Associate Professor and the leader of the ACES team (autonomous, critical, and embedded systems) of Télécom Paris, a school from Institut Polytechnique de Paris. He is a member of the LTCI (Laboratoire Traitement et Communication de l’Information). He has been a Chevalier (Knight) in the Ordre des Palmes académiques since July 2021.
Specialized in custom development of hardware and software solutions for embedded systems and robotics, including the whole development toolchain. Proactive in the free software world. Specialties: Embedded systems, distributed systems, robotics, programming languages (Rust, Scala, C++, C, Ada, Erlang, Python, Smalltalk, Assemblers, etc.), compilation and compilator design. Familiar with many processors and microcontrollers, including Intel/ARM/SH4/PPC.
