Keun-Woo Lim is an Associate Professor at Telecom Paris, Institut Mines-Télécom. He earned his B.A. in English Literature alongside his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Information and Computer Engineering from Ajou University, Korea, and completed his doctoral studies in 2014. His research focuses on service-specific wireless networking, IoT, and digital twin technologies, with an emphasis on mobility management, security, and energy efficiency.
Research activities
Keun-Woo’s main focus of research includes application-specific design of wireless communication and networking technologies in the future of IoT and Digital Twins. This includes UWB/Wi-Fi Radar, management of sustainability and service performance in Digital Twin applications, and application of AI, ML, and data analytics in communication/network management.
Teaching activities
Keun-Woo participates in the teaching of communications and networking, in the field of IoT and future related applications. This includes engineering courses at Telecom Paris, as well as participating in Specialized Masters courses in ADE, MSI, SMOB, and BGD. He also participates in various external teaching in Shanghai SPEIT, ENSTA Paris, and AIVANCITY.
