Repères biographiquesShort Biography

I obtained the engineering degree from the École nationale supérieure des télécommunications (ENST, now called Télécom Paris) and the master’s degree (DEA) in automatic control and signal processing from the University of Paris-Sud, Orsay, France, both in 1996, and the PhD from the University of Paris-Est, Marne-la-Vallée, France, in 2000. I finally obtained the HDR diploma from the University of Paris-Est, Marne-la-Vallée, France, in 2007. In 2001, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Louvain, Belgium.

At the end of 2001, I joined the Communications and Electronics department of Télécom Paris, as an associate professor. Since 2011, I am a (full) professor in the same institution.

From 2004 to 2007, I was deputy editor for the IEEE communication letters. From 2008 to 2012, I was Associate Editor, then Area Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. Since 2014, I have been a member of the IEEE Technical Committee « Signal Processing for Communications and Networking ». From 2018, I am Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks.

Research Topics

My research interests include statistical and digital signal processing (blind equalization, frequency estimation, asymptotic performance analysis and distributed estimation), signal processing for digital communications (synchronization for OFDM modulations and CDMA scheme, localization for UWB, estimation for cooperative communications) and resource allocation (optimization of multiple access techniques, power allocation in cooperative communications and system design).
