Repères biographiquesShort Biography

Marceau Coupechoux received his Master’s degrees from Télécom Paris in 1999 and from the University of Stuttgart in 2000, and his Ph.D. degree from Institut Eurecom in 2004. He received his Authorization to Conduct Research (HDR) from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in 2015.

He is now a Professor at Télécom Paris in the RMS Team, where he is researching on cellular networks, wireless networks, ad hoc networks, cognitive networks, Internet of Things, focusing mainly on performance evaluation, optimization, and resource management. He is also a Lecturing Professor at the École polytechnique.

From 2000 to 2005, he was with Alcatel-Lucent (in Bell Labs, with the Research and Innovation and then with the Network Design Department). He was a Visiting Scientist with the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India, from 2011 to 2012. He has been the General Co-Chair of WiOpt in 2017 and Gamenets in 2019.
