My experience at Télécom Paris was extremely enriching, largely thanks to the many opportunities offered by the school.
Academically, Télécom Paris offers a varied curriculum, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence.
The first year offers a generalist education that allows us to explore different disciplines and better orientate our choice of specialisation for the second year. I chose to specialise in data science and market organisation and finance.
I then opted for an academic gap year in a company, a very formative experience that I highly recommend.
As far as extra-curricular activities are concerned, the community life at Télécom Paris is particularly dynamic and allows you to forge strong links within a class that is on a human scale. I was lucky enough to co-organise the Télécom Paris Forum with the school’s Development and Partnerships Department, a major event for meetings between students and companies. I also joined the Télécom Sound & Magic association, where I was introduced to sound systems and DJing.
My years at Télécom Paris were decisive, both academically and personally. They allowed me to get to know myself better, to gain confidence and to confirm my aspirations for the rest of my career.
