Ulrich Laitenberger is Professor for the Economics of Data and Digital Platforms at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris. He is also a research associate at the Digital Economy Research Department at the Leibniz-Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim and an associate member of the Centre de Recherche en Économie et Droit (CRED, Univ. Paris 2).

Ulrich Laitenberger obtained his Ph.D. in Business Economics from KU Leuven in 2015 and his « Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches » from University of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas in 2019.  From 2011 until 2017, he has worked as a researcher at ZEW Mannheim.

He co-organizes the Paris Seminar on the Economics Digitization and the Conference on Digital Economics at Telecom Paris.
