Michele Fabi is an assistant professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Social Sciences at Télécom Paris. He is also affiliated with the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST) and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
He has recently been awarded with the TLDR Fellowship (Novel Designs for Decentralized Markets) to develop and analyze an Automated Market Maker mechanism for renwable energy trading. Together with Valerie Laturnus and Romain Rosello, He also has been awarded with the Europlace Institute of Finance research grant for analyzing the market for corporate control in decentralized finance.
Previously he was a post doc at Ecole Polytechnique. He received my PHD in 2021 from the doctoral program IDEA-UAB (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona).
Research activities
He is interested in topics such as platforms, decentralized and startup finance, energy markets, blockchain, and the digitalization of money and markets.
He is actively involved in the organization of research events in the Paris area. He is co-organizing the Industrial Economics Seminar Series of CREST (PlatIO seminar). He is also involved in the organization of seminars on blockchain and decentralized finance.
