Séminaire exceptionnel ICE : « Secure Communication with Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution »

Abstract

This talk will provide an overview of continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CV-QKD) as a promising technology for secure quantum communications. The talk will cover the main challenges in CV-QKD systems, including transmission loss, excess noise, system integration, and digital signal processing. In addition, recent progress in the field will be highlighted, including advances in high-rate QKD system, chip-based implementations, and compatibility with existing optical communication infrastructure.

Bio

Dr. Adnan Hajomer is a tenure-track researcher at the Department of Physics, Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His research focuses on continuous-variable quantum communication, quantum key distribution (CV-QKD), and integrated quantum technologies for secure optical networks. He has authored publications in leading journals, including Physical Review Letters, Science Advances, Optica, Light: Science & Applications, and npj Quantum Information, and currently leads several research projects on scalable quantum communication systems.
